The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst
The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst has been training officers for the British Army and other countries for nearly 200 years. Its forbears trace their heritage back to 1741. The Academy currently trains almost all officers that serve in the British Army. The main part of its training is devoted towards young men and women who have completed a university education and are preparing to enter service as junior leaders. The Academy's rich heritage and long experience of action-led leadership training and academic education, along with its facilities, are being used to provide context and an appropriate environment in which the Foundation's activities can develop.
