Hello again,

I hope you all had a good Easter.   We have not been idle over the holiday period, having sent a personal letter from the Commandant to all 15,000 serving army officers.  The response is already encouraging.   Data protection rules make retired brethren more difficult to contact so please can you let any friends know what is on offer.   You and they can short circuit the system by registering on- line at:

Our second Leadership Encounter takes place on Tuesday 8th June and we are delighted to have the Head of Human Rights Watch UK, Steve Crawshaw, to speak on the subject “Justice: Is authoritarian leadership acceptable in a democratic society?”.  The debate should be good value.   With only a limited number of places it will be worth booking a place early.  Further details are at:
