We hope that you all had a very restful Christmas and New Year.  We are certainly looking forward to a busy and interesting year with The Foundation.  Already the number of Reunions and Members Functions booked for this year is up on last year!  We really hope that as many of you and your guests are able to come to the Foundation Dinner Dance on 28 July.

Leadership Encounter Evening - Tuesday 6 February

The first Leadership Encounter Evening of the New Year will be held on Tuesday 6 February.  Mark Adkin, a Foundation Member, will be talking to us on 'The Four Horsemen of Calamity - Which One Launched the Light Brigade - and Why?'.  Please do come and support this event.  Guests are very welcome. A Fond Farewell.   I would like to wish a fond farewell to Colonel Alick Finlayson, Chief of Staff at the Academy, and thank him for all his support with The Foundation over his time in post.  As a Trustee he was not only extremely active in foundering new initiatives but also in promoting The Foundation far and wide.  His enthusiasm was infectious and he will be sorely missed at the Management Board Meetings.  We wish him all the best with his new post and hope that he will join us for many of The Foundation events.
