Well we certainly cannot complain about not getting the sun.  The OCdts are certainly feeling the heat and are having to undertake strenuous activites earlier and earlier in the morning!

Leadership Encounter Evening - Tuesday 12 September.  Please make a note in your diary for the next Leadership Encounter Evening - details of the speaker will be in the August newsletter.

The Previous Leadership Encounter Evening by Dr Patrick Mileham on 'Force for Good.  Why Bother?' was extremely interesting and very thought provoking.  The audience certainly asked some very pertinent questions and a great evening was had by all.

Foundation Dinner Night - A Huge Success!  A big thank you to all those who attended the Inaugural Dinner Night - it was certainly a fun event.  Keith Simpson MP gave an excellent talk - combining both Military and Political antics to amuse his audience.  ESS, the Academy caterers, produced an excellent meal with top notch service and the resident Academy band from the Brigade of Gurkhas played beautifully.  Here are just a couple of the comments 'a splendid evening in keeping with Sandhurst standards - the arrangements made were splendid', 'wonderful evening. Golden page for the memory book - attended many events at Sandhurst but this was, by far, the very best - elegant, tasteful, but laid back and flowed smoothly'.  Here's to the next Dinner Night!

Charity Polo Day - Thurs 13 July is the Charity Polo Day.  The event opens at 1300 and the last match is played about 1630.  All members and their guests are warmly invited to attend.  There is both a food and drinks tent available.  Please click >>here to book in.
