The second Sandhurst Foundation Journal is due to be published in December and is well underway with some excellent articles and reviews. One new area of this next Journal is going to be a 'Comments Box'. This is going to allow members to send their comments on the previous Journal - whether it is a question to the author of the article, positive reviews or constructive criticism on the layout and content of the Journal, or simply your comment on a relevant military issue of the day. We of course hope to print as many as possible, but not all entrants will be published due to a constraint on space allocated. Please email any entries to jules.mccoll@sandhurstfoundation.org All entrants must be with the Foundation by the 16th September. New Addition to the Website. A new area to the website is being set up titled 'Memories - Fond or not so...........'. We would like members to email us funny moments (falling asleep whilst on parade, taking part in guard duty on your bike), poignant memories (the same joke told over and over again by your Platoon Colour Sergeant), your proudest moment or just your down right worst time whilst at Sandhurst, that you would like to share with like minded members. These need to be kept short (about 250 words). Please ensure that you put your full name and intake on the article. As this is my first Newsletter I would welcome any comments on the content and layout or other ideas on what you would like to see in your newsletter. Please contact me on : jules.mccoll@sandhurstfoundation.org All best wishes, |
